I loved Portal, great game…hilarious game. If you don’t like Portal, then as I said earlier, you probably suck anyways, but I digress. When I heard about this I thought “ooh this could be interesting”, interesting yes, great…not really. The whole song/movie scene/random dialogue done up with text has been around for a while and still I feel that nobody has yet to compare to MK12’s Macho Box. But again, I digress…
They could have at least traced the game assets in Illustrator or something (that pixelation on some of the close ups makes my eyes bleed). But like I said, it’s interesting, just not GREAT. Oh and if you don’t like it, you don’t really suck…this time.
When someone does a “making of…” for anything, they should make it like this. If you’re into Metal Gear, or 3d, or both it’s well worth a look…and if not, you probably suck anyways. Check it
this book is the extent of my metal gear solid 4 experience for now (ok, i did listen to the soundtrack too). i’m holding off on the ridiculous amount of money i’d have to pay to play it, since i don’t have a ps3, but if you’ve got mgs4 stories… let’s hear them in the comments. a lot of people have been waiting a lonnnnnng time for today to finally come, and this would not be exclusivestm.com if we didn’t mention it today.
Some beautiful 1/6 scale figures of Old Snake and Raiden of MGS fame are getting ready to come out (no homo) I’m assuming around the time the game comes out some time in early 2008 from Medicom Toys. It’s a given that I’m going to get at least one of these,hopefully both (given I can find them when they come out). Expect to pay around $180 a piece but from the detail that I can see, and the fact that I’m basically a MGS fanboy, it’s totally worth it (for me at least)

Few things to note. Harmonix no longer makes Guitar Hero since it was sold to the Neversoft dudes (think THPS). First footage of GH3 looks weak to me I loved the look and feel that harmonix was bringing to the game and I’m really going to miss that.
Rock band looks unbelievable, with rumors of a 200$ price tag for the game which includes the drums guitars and microphone. One thing I did catch is that the people playing looked just like the performers on the stage, there is even a part of the video where you see the girls face on screen and it looks quite good. Could there be some sort of character builder involved? E3 is just around the corner and I hope they shed more light on this game. I would expect it to drop before the holidays tho I wish it would drop sooner. Lets hope for online battle of the bands and downloadable content on all the next gen systems.
It’s no secret that I’m kinda a nintendo fanboy. I’ve owned every nintendo system, I’ve even owned the first two playstations. I’m hesitant to get into this next gen system war, tho I do have a Wii and I love it. That aside I’ve been looking at the 360 as a possible viable next gen solution, gears, lost planet, project 8, crackdown all of which have peaked my interest. That was until I watched the GDC coverage of Media Molecules Little Big Planet.
I’m going to suggest that you visit game trailers website and watch the video its long but its worth it, they throwdown the word game 3.0 and show off their masterpiece little big planet. Game trailers says its release is Q1 of 2008 which gives me ample time to save my pennies for that damn expensive PS3. Sit through the small commercial and you’ll witness some of the most creative co-op gameplay and level creation you might ever find on a console.
The dry robotic wit coupled with the simply modeled explanations as well as apparently being a test subject in a lab makes for a simple/clean, yet undoubtedly complex end product that makes me actually want to play more video games….scary.
If this is what rhythm heaven looks like, I’m not too sure I want to go there and be forced to punch out lightblubs and hit baseballs in outer space all day.
Games like this scare me, yet at the same time I can’t wait. check it
