I can’t work without a Wacom tablet. I bring it with my for any inhouse freelance work and the mouse is very bothersome to me. The photos of the box were revealed and now pictures of the tablet itself. No word on it yet, but Engadget states:
An anonymous tipster managed to snap a photo of a Future Shop inventory screen that shows four Intuos4 models and pricing: 4 x 6 inch small for $299, 6 x 9 inch medium for $479, 8 x 13 inch large for $999, and 12 x 19 extra large for $649. No clue why the extra large one is over $300 cheaper. They’re all apparently in stock at the distribution center, but there’s no word on when they’ll actually ship to stores.

Jon Julio just got himself a little feature for Adobe TV’s series “The Creatives” . Pumped for this! You can check it out on their site and get a little insight on his day-to-day running Valo and being the dope dude that he’s always been.
Props to Jon for getting a little exposure outside of the normal, expected channels, and doing it with the class we’ve all become accustomed to.

the video announcement came up and i’ve been reading about how it’s going to a good competitor against the iphone. WRONG. click on the image to see the video clip. then scroll up to about 15 min unless you want to hear them ranting about their development and about 3 minutes of douche’s posing with the phone and photographers taking their snaps. then go to the apple store and get yourself an iphone.
i do have to mention that the google maps feature looks dope as shit and i’m guessing the camera is better, but other than that its wack.

wow, was it just me or did the internet kinda-sorta almost pause for a minute there while we sat through those dveloper demos? nice one steve. full coverage on engadget i dunno… i wish it was a completely new build, oh and it’s $299 for the white 16 gig, if you didnt see it.

iPOD Touch, thinner than the iPhone, definitely cooler than the old ones… 16 GIGs!?!?! STEVE?!? For $399? that’s a slap in the face. Full coverage at engadget on today’s press event. the nano’s are kinda dope.

i think i can speak on behalf of most volkswagen owners out there, that we didn’t quite see this one coming. although at 202 mph… who really could?
from vortex…
- VW claims a top speed of 202 mph
- 6.0l W12 12-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine mounted in the back seat of the GTI
- 650hp and 553 lb-ft. of torque (!)
- with the flared fenders the car sits over 6 feet wide and only 4.6 feet tall
- 19″ wheels with 295 rear rubber and 235 front rubber
- the fenders are flared 3.15″ at the rear
and while it’s a little fast and furious style-wsie for my tastes.. you can’t shrug off those numbers.

This is a really sweet resource for you designers that make internets. You can view different type treatments in real time and compare three styles side by side. There’s even an option to export the CSS for each style!

Delicious Monster’s Delicious Library is an application that allows you to categorize an inventory of books, movies, music, and video games on virtual shelves. You simply scan the bar-code of these items using your iSight camera and it all comes together somehow in the end. Fucking cool.

Well, if you can’t afford the iphone, Cingular and Rodgers Wireless (for you Canadians) are in luck. This bad boy is going to give you an option. To me it’s a big ass Pearl, but that bigger screen will give you that ability to take advantage the multi media features, the map for when you get lost, and the organize seems promising.

oh yeah the website looks hot too (click above to enter the site).

This is a very hilarious blog written by “Steve Jobs.” I recommend subscribing to this RSS feed for sure.

(mt) recently launched Krop.com, a site where you can find jobs in the creative and tech domains. The interface is really 2.0 slick and results are easy to find.
Now if only I could find a full-time job .. anyone?
I’m not even close to the first person to do this. But right now i’m posting from my macbook pro using my blackberry pearl as a modem through bluetooth. stuck at the denver airport i don’t have to pay to use that wacky AT&T nonsense that costs 10 bucks for one day (or however long you’re at the airport).
read how to set it up here
If you like me, have a new intel based mac and are disapointed with how photoshop has been running through rosetta, and how you have to wait until spring for a universal version, fret no longer! A beta version will be free to download TOMORROW if you have CS2 and a valid serial number.
Now i’ll be able to see how his mac pro really screams. Hot damn! Be sure to check Adobe tomorrow for details.

Crestock is having a photoshop contest and the prize is 2 30″ displays. Holy shit!
