thank you.

Our very own Drew Matthews was the guest host in the latest episode of Rolling Revival and I must say he represented the hardest.

One of the most interesting friend I’ve met now has a blog site. Cory Casey gave rollerblading personality (thanks flea) and now he is revealing himself, so to speak. Enjoy.

I was commissioned by Mr. Mickey of Intuition Skate Shop to remix old IMYTA shirts. These shirts are not just old IMYTA
tee; it hits a little harder to the heart. One, my brother Mike Rios™ originally designed the tee. Two, that year was my first trip with Europe. Three, it was the last time I got to hang out with Richard. After half a year of sitting in my basement, I finally found the time to stencil the my pieces in the shirt, pack them up and sent to Matt Mickey. Now is your chance to pick your shirt up at the Richard Taylor Fund site. Photos of the shirt after the jump.

Med Abrous? Recently he was featured on the latest GQ magazine with Lindsay Lohan as the cover girl in an article. The former FR pro rider was featured in an article as one of the premiere people in LA.
Intuition’s team section has been updated with more photos courtesy of Ryan Shude and Josh Steinhauer. To view they they are on the right side of the Intuition page.
the good folks over at ONE have posted up the cover of issue3 of ONE, and i’m proud to see none other than my little brother chris cheshbot cheshire. it will be on its way to stands shortly with a full cheshire interview, including shots by wes while he was out here a few weeks ago. and of course, a little sneaker talk by yours truly.
The Original Remedyz. These are my all-time favorite skates of all time. They are flexible, stylish, and perfect for cess slides. I remember seeing my favorite skate Jason Marshall riding them in old Daily Bread magazines and I instantly wanted a pair.
all of this past weekend i saw ross anthony taking pics. he would try to sneak a shot here and there, and me being the ultimate photo sneaker, i was way ahead of him. i told him if he wanted, i’d post up HIS version of our trip on here. he agreed that he didnt know how to “make a blog” but that he wanted to do it with me. so, here it is… enjoy. thanks ross!

Immediately after my way down to LA, I made a trip back to the bay, but the visit was so rushed and tentative that I couldn’t really see or chill with the homies; nor did I get some work done which I was hoping to do. My sister had her wisdom teeth pulled out and I was there to babysit her and cater to her every needs, which consisted of me getting soup and ice cream for her chipmunk-cheeked ass.

As Mike is away at the moment celebrating his mothers birthday (happy birthday Mrs. Rios!) I thought I’d bring you the final chapter in our weekend in Rye, whilst I’m waiting for my face mask to dry. Booya.
After dinner we went back to the hotel and gathered some energy for the session. One thing I learnt from this trip was that Majette loves 2 things - Sleep and Sharks. If anyone else watched that top 10 of worlds deadliest sharks over the weekend, then get in touch with Majette and let him know which was number 1… he fell asleep.

12.29.06:
I was glad to get the hell out of Delano, although it was bad timing because the day all the skaters decide to come out to skate all over Delano, I’m not there. Hopefully plans fit well and Mr. Bachrach comes down to join the festivities of Central Cali. Regardless, I went straight to OC, specifically the Franco office. As I entered the office, it was to my suprise that the first person I see was Jason Battle. As I move towards the office I see Joe in front of the computer showing the new NEW franco line in the works and I am very impressed. The designs are flipping the scripts on the streetwear fame. Arlo and Lulu were also present. I’ve met Lulu 5 times and she still didn’t remember me, but maybe she will this time since I did take some shots of her and I’ll be considered the guy who looks like Jeremy with the camera.
thursday night has been the best night of the week for the past 2 years! here’s the highlights. (each week the best trick of the night gets the flyer for next week) sometimes it’s a hammer. sometimes its chill. but it’s ALWAYS a fun night. we invite everyone to come skate with us if you’re in town. all the flyers after the break in chronological order!
As I just read over at geekrolling.com looks like the revival site is down for a little bit, so in attempt to help some brothers out I’ve put up the episode for download on our server. Kinda our way of getting a brothers back when they need it. I hope they dont mind
For those who don’t know, he was one of the key players of the inspiring Life Plus as the creator of the introductions, which is featured in his reel. It’s a must see. Good job Carlos.

this is the perfect example of marrying art direction, filming and personal touches with rollerblading. if you’re working on a dvd. make it look as good as this. it’ll help you sell copies, and make all of us look better in the process. kudos to everyone involved with this.
