I saw this video and was amazed (thanks Micah for making me watch it). Excellent work by So Me. Victors Solomon also mentioned that So Me was the art director for Justice’s “We Are Friends” video, the video that beat Kanye in the Euro MTV music awards. Anyway, the video is hot, so peep.

Have we really come this far? Could this be the new-school version of the mix-tape cassettes of yester-year? Do people even remember cassettes?

i’m not gonna front, i LOVE this girl. look at those legs, that leather and that bob. i also have to admit that i’m in love with neau school rih, I’m about to ditch nat to be with her, but I thought this hilarious for her to collaborate with her hit song and the actual item. imagine if andre 3000 collaborated with polaroid when “hey ya” came out. anyway, grab them while you can. i already ordered 50.
p.s. thanks to kristopher dukes for the tip.
of course there is a one big reason why I had to post this up.
i wanted to do something like this a long time ago…but not as elaborate as this.
So it seems the once undoubtable Rawkus Records is back. While many question whether they will ever reach the heights they did when putting out records by legends like Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch and Company Flow was a monthly affair, this Toronto born producer gives hope.

Hot damn, this is a fine piece of video. Sure to make the viral rounds of the internet as a great feat of editing and human patience. I cant fathom the hours of darklit rooms of people hunched over keyboards mouse in hand to get this thing done. Sometimes it takes a bit of mind stretching to really get the effect but its a great showing of the use of archival and current footage.

Apparently the 16 year old phenome is having a screwed and chopped album alto sax style and it gives me flashbacks as a young buck at my local J.C. Penny’s buying a pair of Ewing kicks.
Listen to “Yo” here.
Last week I bought the new shuffle. It was haunting me for a while because I thought I could live with my old shuffle even though the headphone jack was messed up and only one side of the headphones would work properly without me tweaking it to a certain position. Wearing big headphones is what I have been using lately not only because the music sounds better, but because it’s getting cold out there and these are better looking earmuffs than earmuffs.
well only the part where she fucks with the mic. Other than that is a bunch of her and her dancers wearing big ass clothes Chris Farmer use to rock and a lot of crotch teasing. I used to think this girl looked pretty until Matt™ mentioned her looking kind of like a man. So I won’t be able to enjoy it as much as you…or maybe I ruined it for you.

This is a very cool new spin on film festivals, and a great opportunity for aspiring directors, so get them cameras out and do the damn thang.
accordion + Zelda theme = damn.

We heard the rumors and I guess he’s putting a date with that rumor. Get ready for that 45 jersey.

This photo is the funniest to me, but I saw it on nahright.com and had to post it…with a special gift.

Sent in to me by sspeier, what appears to be a tricked out AT-AT Boom Box. Not much else is known about this, other than the fact that it’s ridiculously brilliant and I want one.

The Brilliance’s Chuck Anderson has put glow on the map. For those who don’t know, he’s responsible for the new Less Than Jake album cover, the Supra ads as well as the SVSV ads. Well the glow is back and is now featured in my Chicago neighbor Lupe Fiasco’s album coming out September…finally!
