This movie takes you to the brains behind the most creative advertisements to embark on our life time and how it has effected your lives, whether you know it or not. I was released in Sundance this year and I’m hoping this movie is shown in theaters very soon.
I’ve been waiting to see this movie for a while and finally got a chance to see it. So good. The release is very limited, but for those who have On Demand and IFC it’s available there. The cinematography to the film is very inspiring and left me wanting to pick up a camera and shoot Chicago world. There’s also a photo competition based
on the movie to document the city that inspires your aspirations. Also, the soundtrack
is no joke. I went on a witch hunt to find all 21 tracks used in the film finding all but 3 or 4. In any case, go out and see this movie.
P.S. for you bike aficionados, there are fix gears bikes.
I’ve been interested in this movie since I saw the trailer, but I visited the website to find out info on the anticipated Coraline Dunks. Fortunately, the site had more to offer. An awesome interactive site with lot of features including behind the scene video clips, desktop screensaver of beautiful patterning, photo manipulation to put buttons over your eyes, posters and bookmarkers for you to print out. The art direction they took with this movie was impressive. There’s a link to a blog, which has been talking about the Coraline Dunks for all the collectors out there, but explore the site.
With the success of animation movies such as “Animatrix” and “Batman: Gotham Knights“, another emergers going to the big screens instead of straight to DVD. Fear[s] takes a group of the most renown comic and graphic artist each telling their tale of fear. Click on the image to view the trailer.
the UP (new Pixar jam for next year) teaser trailer is good to go. it’s looking like one of those old software/hardware showcases from the early siggraph days, but who cares, i’m into it. you can see a better flash embedded version at the official UP website.
i randomly flipped past MTV last night while i was putting the Hills on, and saw the Ironman trailer. the apple site has it up now. the black sabbath seems a little over the top.. but so does the idea of a crazy rich dude flying around in a suit. ironman trailer.
I’ve known about this for a while and I only heard about this play because of the movie Jersey Girl, but it does look promising to have Depp and Burton behind it. Unfortunately the WB recently asked Burton to recut it to a PG-13 rating so I guess we’ll have to see where this is going. Read the rant about it on Film Drunk .
