This book has been floating around the blog world and it looks impressive. It caters to NBA fans and people who appreciate the illustrations. It keeps it’s style editorial and just looks enjoyable to look through. The book releases Nov. 11th and for a really reasonable price.

i saw some of the posters on ffffound and traced it back to the well medicated site. it has a good variety of different styles, approach and treatment to promote the bad.
When I found out that James Jean was doing some pieces for Prada, I was excited…not because I wanted to buy a Prada piece that he collaborated with, but instead wanted to see what he would do for them. He did a great job with it and you can see this animation where he did the illustrations for. You might want to download this to your ipod.
Off register is a traveling show exhibiting experimental printmaking and a show I have been waiting for for the past 3 weeks or so. I was fortunate to see the show which gave me some inspo to hit the school screen printing studio, which reminds me that I need to pay for that fee. Fuck, that means I can’t buy that Hecox print that I’ve been meaning to buy there. Hmm, rent money or a print? Anyway, I have the photos on my flickr page.
Booyah!…and for all you Chicagoans, make a trip out to West Town and check out some prints…even buy a print or two.

I can’t stress enough how much I jock McFetridge and this is one of the reasons why I wish I were back living in LA. Big G and the veteran Ed Fella are having a show at the Redcat Gallery entitled Two Lines Align, an exhibition about “the evolution of graphic design in the context of massive shifts in our visual culture“. The opening reception is this Wednesday and if you could make it out there and meet the artists (if they are there) I will award you the Lucky Bastard award. In fact, I will create you a “Lucky Bastard” 24 x 36 screen printed poster (this part I am serious).
