Jochen is Mr. Thanksgiving for sending me the link to the new Ucon catalog yesterday. I’m now hungry for the gear.

I cleaned out my room and found some untouched prtmn shirts lying around. I also found the Arlo shirts I made I think a year ago. Sizing and colors are very limited and only available at Intuition.
Posted on Hypebeast is this little chart on how to pronounce your favorite fashion designers’ name. I know a couple fashion design majors in my school that might find this useful.
On Wednesday I received a couple of msgs from people telling me to watch Project Runway because there was a special guest, but I already knew who they were talking about for a week prior to the release of the episode. Her segment was short, but sweet just like her (wow that was a total cornball line). She comes on in the 4th video if you want to cut to the chase.
Update: As I’m writing this, the SNL episode with prtmn came on. It’s prtmn week for me.

Stussy will be opening up their store tomorrow (Saturday) on the 2nd floor of Ubiq Walnut location, which will have the artwork of Rob Abeyta and managed by Daveee Blair. If you’re in the area, make it one of your spots to go.
When I found out that James Jean was doing some pieces for Prada, I was excited…not because I wanted to buy a Prada piece that he collaborated with, but instead wanted to see what he would do for them. He did a great job with it and you can see this animation where he did the illustrations for. You might want to download this to your ipod.
I’ve always been a fan of the J12 since it came out in the white ceramic, and now in black and gold? Don’t let me get a few dollars… Continue reading ‘Chanel and Audemars Piguet J12 Watch’

instead of having a traditional fashion show for his upcoming fall collection, Stefano Pilati presented his new line with a projected triptych which is hauntingly beautiful and amazingly done.

My agency TAXI did something really cool this year. I wont go into detail in this post but you should check out the 15below site and make double sure you check out the test video. I’m stoked on this idea and on the fact that my employer is fuckin’ RAD.

I received an email from Cecile of Le Bouclard (also the cut and sew designer of Artysm)
with a video clip of Le Bouclard. I thought it was the basement of their old location, but according to their blog it’s a new shop. I think it’s a spin off. Sorry for the lack of proper info, but check out the vidclip of the kind of kicks they’re representing and if you’re in the hood holla at them.

Nomis, the snowboard clothing lifestyle brand developed by rider Simon Chamberlain, is dropping a new HEATED hoodie for the 08 season. This hoodie has an 8 hour battery life and is fully rechargable. So next time you get cold, remember to plug your clothing in.

This has been semi-buzz since the beginning of the year when Burton showed this hoodie for the Fall line. As I leave the Wicker Park area, I did my last “rounds” around the hood, stopping at the shops I will not be visiting as frequently as before. To my surprise the hoodie was available.

i had to pinch this from sky’s riottt blog. i first saw the cad line sheets for the nike tech pack a good 2 or 3 months ago. a good friend of mine will have the line at his shop this fall, and when i saw these real pics of the goods yesterday, i had to share them here.
