…and hope I’m not the only one too!
man-oh-man.

The world of portable products is on the rise, especially with the ipod and their bootleg rivals. This time portability has entered the realm of television. Introducing a hot product that will help you get through that trainride from point A to point B. The RoverTV is a portable TV which lets you store movies and television shows, as well as music. One feature that got me going was that you could record tv shows and have them on the go. No more waiting for Entourage like I have to. It also has an FM tuner in case you want to listen to Big Boy in the Morning here in LA or Wendy Williams up in the East Coast. Big ups to Daveee Blaire who will be supporting these guys. Make sure to see him with a rover on.

P.S. I am a fan of Chris Webber and he was hosting a party in Vegas for the Rover. I happen to stumble upon his website and it’s quite impressive.
So many websites have tried to tap into the flooded and undefined world of “digital music.” Most of these sites are clunky and don’t really have anything to offer people who usually delve a little deeper in sub genres than the general populous. Pandora.com has you choose an artist, then you choose a song and say “this is what i want to hear more of” and they go find more artists that sound like the song you’ve selected.
It works surprisingly well and they have a lot of content I wasn’t expecting (matching a Low song to an old Pedro the Lion song? awesome). Give it a go. You’ll be hooked.

I think I am looking forward to this more than The Simpsons movie!
Trailer is here.

so… they just put up the teaser trailer for the “all new CGI” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. all together now…. “ehhhh”
it’s no transformers movie, but i think the kid in all of us WANTS it to be cool. oh well, maybe they’ll prove me wrong. they shouldve gone all comic noir and do it sin city style.

Instantly be more creative by listening to what the “pros” listen to. Sounds good to me! groan.
The Designers Mixtape

I love sites like this.

Looks like it came a little early (due to leaks no doubt). It might be nothing to you but it’s the shit to me.
Check it

Thank God for computers, internet, and music. Without it I’d spend my shoe money on music. The infamous Tommy Boy sent me a link to this hot site called the Hype Machine. It is a search engine for audio blogs in which you can find good remixes as well as regular hits. Definitely a must to RSS.

there’s still no online trailer, but august 4th will be a good day to go to the movies.

woah! ok, im sorry steve jobs, im sorry john lasseter… im SORRY pixar. i doubted you all. i saw the commercials, the trailers, and all of that merchandise, and i admit… i was SUPER skeptical.

The DVD is scheduled to be available July 25th, 68 minutes, three episodes Chappelle made before he went to Africa. If you haven’t already seen the old teaser that circulated, here it is.

WOW I’ve really begun to come to an even greater appreciation of sound design the more motion work I do. These lovely people here are on some other shit, no question (although I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of the whole euro dance music bits). For the love of god, please check the video reel….
aaaaaaannnnnd…..go……

Now this reminds me of skating when I was younger cause the winters in canada make street next to useless for rolling. Tho we used to find parking garages which were still cold as hell, one thing we did do was set up stuff in our basements and ride that. Pretty brutal if you’re tall like me.

Ok so I have this great tribute to weezer album done by this string quartet, after doing some google searching I found vitamin records not only are there dozens and dozens of string quartet records everything from sabbath to radiohead to enya to yanni to fall out boy, but there are other genres featured as well. Electronic, DUB etc…
Def worth checking out, great to play and have people guess what song / artist it is.

Radio.Blog.Club is an online streaming audio web 2.0 thing. You can host your own MP3 playlist for all to enjoy, or simply type in an artist or song name and magically listen in seconds. If you want to listen to a particular song fast or don’t have access to your music library because you are away from your personal computer, it works wonders for a quick fix.
P.S. do a search for Mylo, the VS. tracks are bananas.
