I usually dont do this kind of thing round here but I’m really amused at what money can do for people.
So first Jerry and now Pharrell. Both people bought up by the big old Micro$oft to shell windows to people. I’m honestly all for celebrity endorsements, but lets be truthful here people. Jerry had a mac on his desk for every single episode of Seinfeld. Its a god dammned trivia question for chrissakes. And now this new microsoft commercial “i’m a PC” Pharrell from N.E.R.D. says hes a PC when he makes a living by making music on a mac, has a golden iphone? I’m going to go out on a limb and say that he doesnt use a PC as an everyday machine, but that money made him appear to be a PC in a commercial to get the wing vote for PC’s on the younger folk.
I’m pretty sure in both photos below that Pharrell is rocking a mac. But then again you can judge that.
pretty sure thats an apple keyboard and mouse, nevermind that mac laptop in the background.
apple monitor … check
OSX screen saver running on a PC? … proly not.
I cleaned out my room and found some untouched prtmn shirts lying around. I also found the Arlo shirts I made I think a year ago. Sizing and colors are very limited and only available at Intuition.

To promote the upcoming HBO movie “Recount” based on the 2000 elections, this pseudo booth was placed in Union Square to test the voting booths. My sister and I tried it out. I personally didn’t think it was confusing, but my sister thought it might of been a bit difficult. Unfortunately we can’t change the past, but regardless it was a good way to get people to watch the movie and get mad. Oh well. The movie will air Sunday, May 25 on HBO. More photos after the jump.
In celebration to the release of their third album entitled Third which comes out on Tuesday, you can preview some songs of Portishead’s album on Current. I saw it on the current show and figured it would be online as well. Enjoy…because I did.
Today i stopped by Stitch, a place where I freelance at. Pamela, the owner, introduced me to this toy that you plug into your computer when you want to fill in that empty USB spot. It reacts to vibration and it keeps you company when you’re working those late nights alone. You can check out the company here and can buy them at Stitch.

My agency TAXI did something really cool this year. I wont go into detail in this post but you should check out the 15below site and make double sure you check out the test video. I’m stoked on this idea and on the fact that my employer is fuckin’ RAD.

Daveee’s straight hustlin’. After the Texas life he decided to come back to the west and just landed a new job working for the company Kallusive based in the LA area. He’s updating the Kallusive blog on the consistent tip.
Tracy Morgan is performing in Schaumberg, IL and came on the local Chicago news station to promote his show at the Improv. You know he had to bring the pain. Big ups to Blindiforthekids.

This has been semi-buzz since the beginning of the year when Burton showed this hoodie for the Fall line. As I leave the Wicker Park area, I did my last “rounds” around the hood, stopping at the shops I will not be visiting as frequently as before. To my surprise the hoodie was available.

We’ve talked about the movie. A couple of us got to view it and now its about to be available in DVD for every teacher and nerd to enjoy and for the supergeek, there’s the limited edition packaging.

if you were watching good morning america this morning, or read the NY Times yesterday, you might have heard about the “new” Today Sponge, and how it’s coming back to retail after an absence from store shelves with all new packaging. packaging and branding courtesy of the LOVELY Jillian Doran, who some of you may also know as my rad girlfriend.

so… let’s talk dark knight for a hot minute here. were you up on the harvey dent campaign site?
I was commissioned by Mr. Mickey of Intuition Skate Shop to remix old IMYTA shirts. These shirts are not just old IMYTA
tee; it hits a little harder to the heart. One, my brother Mike Rios™ originally designed the tee. Two, that year was my first trip with Europe. Three, it was the last time I got to hang out with Richard. After half a year of sitting in my basement, I finally found the time to stencil the my pieces in the shirt, pack them up and sent to Matt Mickey. Now is your chance to pick your shirt up at the Richard Taylor Fund site. Photos of the shirt after the jump.
