Cool Kids-Black Mags

I’ve been looking forward to this for a good while. Created by GL Joe and Jake Zalutsky.

Toys of the Patriots

Some beautiful 1/6 scale figures of Old Snake and Raiden of MGS fame are getting ready to come out (no homo) I’m assuming around the time the game comes out some time in early 2008 from Medicom Toys. It’s a given that I’m going to get at least one of these, hopefully both (given I can find them when they come out). Expect to pay around $180 a piece but from the detail that I can see, and the fact that I’m basically a MGS fanboy, it’s totally worth it (for me at least)

Hotel Chevalier

The prologue to The Darjeeling Limited became available on Tuesday. Unfortunately for me I could have gone to the screening at the Apple store here and met Roman Coppola, but I’ve been slackin’ on the NatNews. Oh yeah did I mention Nat was on here? Oh yeah did I mention she was tastefully nude here? Peep game.

Le Bouclard Ouvert

I received an email from Cecile of Le Bouclard (also the cut and sew designer of Artysm)
with a video clip of Le Bouclard. I thought it was the basement of their old location, but according to their blog it’s a new shop. I think it’s a spin off. Sorry for the lack of proper info, but check out the vidclip of the kind of kicks they’re representing and if you’re in the hood holla at them.

High Quality Shit

Remember the days when rollerblading had some ill commercials? Since the death of a consistant videomagazine, commercials go straight to the ‘tube’ with low quality aspirations, but finally a commercial with a good look and quality.

mini.ca/trackster

Over here at my day job we just launched the mini.ca trackster. Why not go and create your own track and send it to a friend or embed it in your blog or myspace or whatever your into. I personally animated all the movies so take your time in selecting the ones for your track. BTW don’t forget to unlock the locked content cause those movies are a blast.

A complete to-scale model of Bumblebee from the Transformers made out of paper. I can’t imagine how long something like this would take to build.

Oh Kanye

I saw this video and was amazed (thanks Micah for making me watch it). Excellent work by So Me. Victors Solomon also mentioned that So Me was the art director for Justice’s “We  Are Friends” video, the video that beat Kanye in the Euro MTV music awards. Anyway, the video is hot, so peep.
