its been a while since we posted about the zune arts site. But it looks like there are some new things to check out.

You prolly already seen these bags, over on hypebeast. But I read the incase blog and I see it fitting with the other nights season premier of Rob & Big that I post up these gems of bags.
Honestly I’ve been hot on incase for a long time now. I’m still rockin’ my DC x incase bage from 2 years ago, its my daily commuterbag with laptop in tow 100% of the time. These bags wont quit and I would think that this new collab wouldn’t be any different.
Peep images over at incase, as well as hypebeast.
For the past several weeks, we at D.O.E. have been working on the awards book for the annual Seattle Show. I won’t spoil too much about the insides of this book but one of the bells and whistles is the canvas cover. Some buddies over at Arscentia were able to laminate canvas to our press sheets to make one spiffy cover. After they were delivered, we went to town hand stenciling each and every one. 800 sheets for 1600 books. Our backs hurt, our fingers hurt, our knees hurt, but it was a pretty swell project. Photos ahoy!

Our very own Drew Matthews was the guest host in the latest episode of Rolling Revival and I must say he represented the hardest.

i think i can speak on behalf of most volkswagen owners out there, that we didn’t quite see this one coming. although at 202 mph… who really could?
from vortex…
- VW claims a top speed of 202 mph
- 6.0l W12 12-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine mounted in the back seat of the GTI
- 650hp and 553 lb-ft. of torque (!)
- with the flared fenders the car sits over 6 feet wide and only 4.6 feet tall
- 19″ wheels with 295 rear rubber and 235 front rubber
- the fenders are flared 3.15″ at the rear
and while it’s a little fast and furious style-wsie for my tastes.. you can’t shrug off those numbers.

Recently Electrolychee updated their site starting their page with a desktop, so I thought I’d give this opportunity to mention other design firms that have been getting recognition straight from the Philippines.

The UT mag site is up. I honestly don’t know if it was up already, but my girl Kristopher Dukes directed me to this. I can’t understand what’s being said, but there are lots of pictures.

One of the most interesting friend I’ve met now has a blog site. Cory Casey gave rollerblading personality (thanks flea) and now he is revealing himself, so to speak. Enjoy.

Little Chimp Society has released their interview with renown illustrator James Jean, which is short, but sweet.

Lest we forget how to write, this is something that has come to be more appealing to me at this time. No waiting for things to turn on, just get the job done right away. The Hipster PDA. Download it for free.

I was commissioned by Mr. Mickey of Intuition Skate Shop to remix old IMYTA shirts. These shirts are not just old IMYTA
tee; it hits a little harder to the heart. One, my brother Mike Rios™ originally designed the tee. Two, that year was my first trip with Europe. Three, it was the last time I got to hang out with Richard. After half a year of sitting in my basement, I finally found the time to stencil the my pieces in the shirt, pack them up and sent to Matt Mickey. Now is your chance to pick your shirt up at the Richard Taylor Fund site. Photos of the shirt after the jump.

10. Steve Jobs said: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
