I’ve been a long time fan of JDK. Ever since I knew about them I’ve tried to keep up with what they keep bringing to that table. Design wise, cuture wise etc..
Fast Company wrote up a little article depicting some of the companies background as well as their win of the xbox 360 logo design.
Its a great read
This is a really sweet resource for you designers that make internets. You can view different type treatments in real time and compare three styles side by side. There’s even an option to export the CSS for each style!

There’s something about the MOB crew that keeps me in check with them. It more than them just being girls in a male dominated streetwear world holding their own. It’s how they present themselves. They are so bad ass. Their latest MOB Living episode is posted up on Riottt. Check it out here.
Note: In order for you to view you, you must start an account with Riottt.

It’s no secret that I’m kinda a nintendo fanboy. I’ve owned every nintendo system, I’ve even owned the first two playstations. I’m hesitant to get into this next gen system war, tho I do have a Wii and I love it. That aside I’ve been looking at the 360 as a possible viable next gen solution, gears, lost planet, project 8, crackdown all of which have peaked my interest. That was until I watched the GDC coverage of Media Molecules Little Big Planet.
I’m going to suggest that you visit game trailers website and watch the video its long but its worth it, they throwdown the word game 3.0 and show off their masterpiece little big planet. Game trailers says its release is Q1 of 2008 which gives me ample time to save my pennies for that damn expensive PS3. Sit through the small commercial and you’ll witness some of the most creative co-op gameplay and level creation you might ever find on a console.
here is the link again Little Big Planet GDC

USPS will be helping Star Wars commemorate it’s 30th anniversary by installing these R2-D2 wraps around the mailboxes. I think it’s cool and can’t wait to see what taggers and vandalists do to it. For more photos go here and coming soon will be http://uspsjedimaster.com.

Found this among my RSS feeds. I like Jeff, I read his blog and generally I enjoy the things hes doing.

Helvetica is a feature-length independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. It looks at the proliferation of one typeface (which is celebrating its 50th birthday this year) as part of a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives. Helvetica will begin screening at film festivals worldwide starting in March, followed by cinema screenings across the US and Europe, and the DVD release.
A few weeks ago i posted about virb. A social networking site much like myspace, facebook, friendster, what have you. They just opened registration today to the public (it was beta before) and have added a ton of new features such as flickr and custom RSS integration. But one of my favorite parts about virb is how it was built to be customized, the editors are fantastic and the site itself was coded beautifully so you don’t have to hack the shit out of the CSS to get something that looks half decent.
Check out Virb for a nicer looking social networking experience

This is a pretty slick motion piece about Big Brother (not the skatebaording magazine) Def worth a watch if only for the great work, not to mention the information within.
We as a collective of designers, artists, friends and shoe lovers came together to make this blog for us. It so happens that some other people happen to be into much of the same things that we are into. Recently I personally banded the group of us together to make a collective, right now we arent up to much, as everybody is quite busy. Getting jobs, keeping jobs and changing jobs to name a few. Not to mention rebuilding of sorts. There are great plans for the next round of Exclusives™ but right now you’ll have to settle with random blog updates and our new newsletter.
