the past 2 months have been the busiest of my life. adding chris to the UBIQ staff has helped a LOT, but the workload has significantly increased since his arrival. to give you all a headsup on what’s going down… i documented our day on wednesday as we had the first of many meetings that will happen between now and mid january when we close the store for renovations. wow, i can’t believe that’s 3 weeks away! check out more pics… censored so that the name stays under wraps til we open.

the plans are tight. all the details have finally been ironed out (something i was sweating about) it’s gonna be dope.

john (the owner/bossman), mr. hung (korean oldworld contractor extraordinaire), and peter (ex supreme team leader) reviewing the back room.

you would be pumped too if you were talking about what they’re talking about.

for a 72 yr old man who speaks only korean, mr. hung is surprisingly down with the times, and not worried about hooking up the ill construction for the plans. (he built the store the first time around too). the shaved head guy is rafael. awesome architect, and cool dude responsible for the aNYthing store in nyc.. (among other things)>

plans for a new tommorrow

even the H.N.I.C. gets his hands dirty. its a team effort.

railing stays or goes? stop by in march to find out…
so yeah. expect a RAD cloesout sale in the near future, and then say goodbye to UBIQ. it will be a whole new world in here when you come back in march. we’ll keep you posted.
