At night projections from moving cars are shone on the buildings downtown. Each car projects a video of a wild animal. The animal’s movements are programmed to correspond to the speed of the car…Click for more info & sweet video.

This is one of the best portfolios i’ve seen online in a long time. the presentation of projects is wonderful, the projects are wonderful. The nav seems sort of constricting, but the work is so good I don’t even care. I just keep clicking next and my jaw drops a little lower.
I had to document this part and share the photos with the Franco site. What does this actually mean? Means less skating and more internet reading…only this time you have to flip flop from this site and the Franco site.

While I was in NYC I kept seeing signs for the new UNIQLO flagship store. Honestly I didn’t even know what they were about. but their teaser site for the SOHO store done by Yugo Nakamura is crazy. If your familiar with Yugo or is work you’ll def enjoy this.
a little tidbit from psfk
“Uniqlo will deliver container stores modeled after a ship’s cargo containers to various locations in Manhattan and beyond during Labor Day weekend, according to Women’s Wear Daily. As a precursor to the October opening of Uniqlo’s 36,000-sq.-ft. flagship in SoHo, the container stores will operate every weekend until the flagship opens. The exterior of the container stores is made from corrugated metal, while the inside is fitted with shelves. The container stores, which are arriving from Tokyo, will be transported from the pier on flatbed trucks, then lifted by cranes and placed on streets throughout New York. Merchandise in the container stores will vary to reflect the demographics of each neighborhood. The SoHo flagship will be the largest of the company’s 730 stores worldwide.”

Sent in to me by sspeier, what appears to be a tricked out AT-AT Boom Box. Not much else is known about this, other than the fact that it’s ridiculously brilliant and I want one.

The Brilliance’s Chuck Anderson has put glow on the map. For those who don’t know, he’s responsible for the new Less Than Jake album cover, the Supra ads as well as the SVSV ads. Well the glow is back and is now featured in my Chicago neighbor Lupe Fiasco’s album coming out September…finally!
funny video about net neutrality. you can go to wearetheweb.org for more information about what you can do to save the internet!
HDR soft offers a really awesome resource about High Dynamic Range images. The results are pretty stunning, looks like I need to get my tripod and try this out.

I’ve had a think about what last week’s Puma’s Linked party was actually about… I still can’t get any closer to an answer. There was a nice BMX style bike given away, some beers, music and a lot of people but I guess that’s all you really need to have a good time. My friend Joe was behind the camera this time so sorry for the amount of drunk pictures of myself.

get ready for the new sparkle hoodie and crazy hoodie/jacket/thing as well as all new tees that are all gonna be hot.
