So many websites have tried to tap into the flooded and undefined world of “digital music.” Most of these sites are clunky and don’t really have anything to offer people who usually delve a little deeper in sub genres than the general populous. Pandora.com has you choose an artist, then you choose a song and say “this is what i want to hear more of” and they go find more artists that sound like the song you’ve selected.
It works surprisingly well and they have a lot of content I wasn’t expecting (matching a Low song to an old Pedro the Lion song? awesome). Give it a go. You’ll be hooked.
from wikipedia—heat vision and jack
“Heat Vision and Jack was a proposed 1999 comedy/sci-fi television show starring Jack Black, Owen Wilson, and Ron Silver. Christine Taylor guest starred in the pilot episode, the only episode filmed. The show was directed by Ben Stiller.
While the Fox Network didn’t pick up the show, the pilot gained an online following. The show was written and executive produced by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab, of Scud: The Disposable Assassin, Channel 101, and “Dead Alewives” fame.”
Pictured under the heading bright ideas in a respectible sunday broardsheet newspaper we have young inventor Leigh Heards newest invention Accelerates.Oh dear what will they think of next?the jist of the invention is 2 inline wheels facing sideways as opposed to forwards apparently the benifit is “allowing wearers to sprint forward on their toes, they can then jump and land side- on on the wheels” giving you a effect of riding a skate board?why on earth would you want that? also according to wacky leigh “this will give skaters a whole new range of tricks’he says” Leigh I really want to see these said tricks!

Pharrell’s album came out today and I happen to stuble upon this. After the success of Jay Z’s and Shawn White HP commercial, they nabbed another busy man. No youtube version was available, so you have to settle for windows media player on the Vibe website.
If this is what rhythm heaven looks like, I’m not too sure I want to go there and be forced to punch out lightblubs and hit baseballs in outer space all day.
Games like this scare me, yet at the same time I can’t wait. check it
Here we have it proof if we ever needed it that Nike still kills it! The Nike Moire is as beautifuly stylish as it is technicalily advanced with the inclusion of apple x Nike + technoligy.I cant vouch for how effective the technoligy is as i am no runner but I can highly recomend these on regards to there sheer beauty and comfort.Pictured above are the two tier zero releases that dropped in the uk at FP and DSM last saturday. The Moire itself is also now avalible in stores and online @ nikeid.com where there are a array of colourways to be played with.
All this week, I’ve been juggling the fact to if I should get the new Jordan 4′s Fire Red “Mars”. The night before, my friend convinced me not to get them…until I saw Anthony having the alarm set to 5:55 am. I thought to myself, “Fuck it, I’ll sleep later today on top of my art history books in Borders”.
it’s no transformers movie, but i think the kid in all of us WANTS it to be cool. oh well, maybe they’ll prove me wrong. they shouldve gone all comic noir and do it sin city style.
Ah touché, Dangermouse! Looks like they used your ideas against you.
Gnarls Biggie is an independently released, infringement-laden remix project put together by the increasingly (g)notorious DJ unit, Sound Advice. The disc is filled with chopped Gnarls Barkley tracks, and layered with the timeless lyrics of New York’s black Frank White, Biggie Smalls. Completed over the past few weeks, the disc has been repeatedly removed from MySpace, but that hasn’t thwarted its creators. If anything it has made them work harder to share their creation with music lovers. Sit back, relax and give it a listen.
If you went on Micah’s exclusive page and was wondering about his post entitled “Hey Apollo” with a pair of shorts, well it leads to this. Back in February for our NY trip I remember Micah saying how he hasn’t worn shorts since his 8th grade. He finally settled into his new apartment and invited the members to come visit and since I’ve never been to Seattle before, I might as well tek up his offer…under one condition. He would have to wear a pair of shorts.
Where as some retailers are running (see what I did there?) a bit behind with getting the new iPod/Nike system out to the public, Offspring in Covent Garden, London are one of the first stores in the UK to offer the complete kit.
Apollo and I went to my favorite ledges in all the world and got a few snapshots to show you that we can still throw down. Just akwardly, and slowly, and in my case, with an extreme lack of style
