just find a good, older steel road frame and convert it(raleigh, schwinn). itd be way cheaper, especially after you lay it down for the first time.

stef, you dont need a kit, just a single cog rear hub/rim and a shorterr chain. and then rip off all the brakes. just make sure you get a good geometry frame or itll be super uncomfortable/slow and prone to crashing.
whats a good geometry frame. I think an old housemate left his 10 speed in my parents garage. could be a place to start.
