Converse is doing this thing where people do some movies my guess is on Converse shoes. The Mighty Mos Def did his piece and you can check out some other works as well.

I’m so excited!

Tron

I don’t know how many Seattle heads check this board. But TRON is playing at The Egyptian Theater on Capitol Hill tonight and tomorrow at midnight. I’ll be there for sure.

lunchtime / garage session

lunchtime.jpg
Now this reminds me of skating when I was younger cause the winters in canada make street next to useless for rolling. Tho we used to find parking garages which were still cold as hell, one thing we did do was set up stuff in our basements and ride that. Pretty brutal if you’re tall like me.

this edit is fun.

The History of CGI

Moneyfornothing.jpg

Wikipedia delivers all the info on anything…even about Cash Money. The history of CGI can be found here, and elaborated a little more to visual and special effects here.

The day started a bit late. Also, just to let you know I have no idea what day I’m talking about, but as long as I’m going in chronical order that’s all you really need to know. Anyway, my sister and I head to a pizza place called Cheeseboard, which is random how their opperation works. Basically they make one certain pizza each day. They are open for lunch, close up, and open back up in time for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. The recipe for this day was garlic pizza overed in pesto sause. Roasted garlic is available on the side, and is recommended…if you like garlic. And they’re vegetarian. I know that’s the trend now a days…at least I’ve sort of noticed.

the feed

feed
Feed is run by the folks at stash media, who you should know for putting out a DVD compilation everymonth of hot spots and whatnot. (matter of fact I think I’ve been in an issue) That aside this is their new blog type thing with contributors from all over and needless to say there will be lots of self promotion given this operation.

so yeah add it to your daily mograph links but in no way should I think this trumps the mighty motionographer

Bay Area Week

IMG_0055.JPG
After two weeks working on my projects and four all nighter nights a trip to the bay was what I needed, but God didn’t make it easy for me. As stressful night of cleaning and making a second “NY Vs. LA” photo book for my school to review, I was late for my flight. The airline book me on a later flight to Denver. Everything seemed all good until they started to call my airline to Oakland and they haven’t called my name for standby.

Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous

She’s mad hot in the video. Also Timberland rocked the beat and parts of the song, PLUS Timberlake is here. I personally like his old grungy look (like the way he looks in Alpha Dog), but Nelly tops it.

bicycle boogie…

dear god i love the movie RAD! a few of you might know that before i started rollerblading, i was first a velodrome bike racer, and then a “bmx’er” for about a decade. this movie is the epitome of the 80s and everything that was awesome about it, it’s one of my top 3 movies no doubt. things to look for.. the obvious male stunt double for full house’s lori laughlin on the bike, bart connors as the bad guy, the 80s “babes” and of course the cool really weird slang all the characters use. ha.i always hoped this would somehow happen at my prom, but it never did.

man, where’s jess d. at?? i’d love to hear what he has to say about RAD!

“Gino”

Anybody who has ever been to a club in New York knows the deal with this.
