Reconfigurable Cities

GMC PAD
So working for GM sometimes bores me, I mean cars are cars. Four wheels gas etc. etc. Once in a while I get stoked on the possibility that they might do something that is totally unique for them to do, in this case its the GMC PAD.

IFTF has a little blurb about this new ultra conceptual vehicle, which one day could offer a mobile living solution for citys such as LA.

Kicking Nerds

These shoes (which are made out of parts of computer keyboards) have just won the top prize in the sports category at the 6th annual Hong Kong Footwear Design Contest.

Well Matt Mickey did not formally announce this, but Intuition relocating their services a street up from where they are at right now, which is a huge improvement. Matt took me to the office when it was pitch black and here are some of the Exclusive™ photos of the inside…it’s VERY exclusive.

Stiletto

I’ve been a long time fan of this interdisciplinary design firm, and despite how sexist it may sound, it made me like them even more to learn that two women founded it.

Nevertheless, the amount of flavor this house produces is ridiculous; everyone could take a lesson from these ladies.

Luxirie: LRG for Ladies

luxi1LRG is coming out with their Women’s line called Luxirie. As successful as LRG is, it’s no doubt that Luxirie will do same. The stuff looks good and if I saw a girl rockin’ this gear, I’ll know she knows what’s up. Ladybug Mecca of Digable Planets was one of the first to expose the line with the LRG line with her fellow group mates.

Taste Wear The Rainbow

As some of you may know, February brought a re-stock of what I believe is possibly one of the most beautiful sneakers ever to be designed – the Nike HTM Air Woven. Originally released in 2002 at under a dozen tier zero accounts worldwide, this set is from the same batch (all individually numbered out of 1500). Nobody is certain where the re-stock came from and Nike certainly aren’t dropping any hints either. One thing’s for sure, this isn’t a re-release, more of a “Hey, we’ve just found a couple hundred pairs of Woven’s, let’s send them out to a few stores!”
