If you’re from London and havn’t heard about the Carling 24 event then… well, you should have. Every scrubber’s favourite drinks brand are putting on another 24 hour festival spanning 8 venues and featuring over a dozen bands. Kaiser Chiefs kick off the event at 7pm tonight (Friday 28th), finishing with Razorlight, 24 hours later. If you’re not an indie wonderboy, you may be saying “Chris, aren’t those bands err, a bit shit?” Well then I suggest you get down to Islington Academy at 11pm tonight for Ian Brown with support from the Scratch Perverts. Tickets are sold out and resell rate outside the venue will probably excess £100 for two, but I can give you an EXCLUSIVE promise that it will be money well spent. The show will also be broadcast live on Channel 4.
Love it or hate it(I think its great). The new Nintendo Revolution got renamed this morning and will now be called Wii. Similar to Intels VIIV but I think more on target than the boys in blue. I’m seriously a Nintendo fanboy, I know this company can do nothing wrong and I know I have an army of fanboys behind me when I say that the Nintendo Wii will be the best system to day from the Big N!
