so.. i just saw that jeff staple posted about these, but im going to go ahead and do it anyway.
i have an affinity for smart design and product development. and as any of my friends can tell you, i’ve started to move away from sneakers and have been VERY put-off by the “new school”, so to speak, of sneaker collectors, and “sneakerheads”…

i’ve been critical in my purchases over the past 8 months, and have all but stopped buying shoes. that said.. when i saw these socks back in august at my sb meeting, i knew my girl would have to have a pair.

i picked these up from ty at leaders, and my girlfriend is in LOVE. they really do function well, the sublmiation is top notch, there’s a bit of thick rubberized screen printing on the sole for traction, and the packaging is nicely thought out. i know they have atleast one more pair of these in the pipeline (the homers) so i recommend checking them out. clever, fun product from a division of the swoosh that is in much need of a inspiration and new things. hopefully they can push more new products, and curb the same old, same old that they’ve been churning out.

as a footnote, the eire dunks (and most likely the apparel as well) will be at ubiq in about 2 weeks. and before you ask, sorry, no, i cant hook you up.
