March 16th around 11 pm, my roommate and I drove from Chicago to California. It was a journey I have never embarked on, but for him it was another trip back to the Golden State. I couldn’t wait to go home, but the trip was truly an experience for me.
We stopped in St. Louis to drop my roommate’s girlfriend off where it was rainy, but that arch just amazed me. For some reason, the city from the freeway reminded me of Philly. I miss Wawa.
I have to give props to Maddie’s mom for making us spagetti by the time we got there. Sorry we couldn’t stay and slumber, but we were on a mission.
Also the bathroom was really tiny. Her parents’ house had gone under many makeovers that it was featured in some HGTV show. I thought the bathroom was originally a closet, but it was always a bathroom.
This was how the road looked most of the way. It’ll make you think, but not enough to make you go crazy…at least for my sake.
After passing through Missouri and Oaklahoma City, we stopped at Amarillo, TX and ate at
Fazoli’s. I’m sure the food isn’t good, but from the experience I got, DON’T GET THE LASAGNA. The noodle of it was over cooked and the taste just sucked. Also, the breadsticks were hella salty. Although we were in a pitstop, some local people were there and I from some of the ones I saw, there are some good looking girls there.
We stopped in Albuquerque at a rest stop that overlooks the city, but before that all I could think of was the Simpsons episode of the Springfield Isotopes moving Alburquerque. In fact, we passed by a bilboard of their baseball team the Alburquerque Isotopes.
The rest stop was random. Some of the weirdest people were there. They even had a barber shop there. Some tall ass lady was getting a haircut from a short man. Then as we were about to leave we saw this… …and we just moved it a long.
I was driving and my roommate turned into a sleeping bag buritto.
Our last stop (well my last stop at least) was in Woodward West in Stallion Springs where the Amature Inline League was taking place.
Daveee Blaire was rockin’ the mic with a side of style

Brett Well during his run with a classic prtmn sticker on the helmet.
Matt Mickey after working out in the gym while Logan Johnson gets saucy with him.
Chris Mitchell, the hardest working photographer in the buisiness.

The Champ: Mike Obedoza. For the next event, I think I’ll make him a prtmn x Phillippines tee
The aftermath..well there really wasn’t one except the chaos we kind of created in this restaurant
One of the waitresses was really hot. Like Lohan hot, but she wasn’t having it waiting on all of us, so we got some butterface.
this place had the weirdest memorabilias.
and we made use of our waiting time
…for fish sandwich and potato salad
I couldn’t wait to shower after all that driving and no showering, but plenty more to come from this cali mission of mine.
